Valentine’s Day will be here in no time, so it’s about time to start working on some cards for the occasion. I really wanted to make a single layer card, this is what I came up with. I first lightly sketched out a heart with pencil onto my cardfront and started filling it in with all kinds of smaller stamps. I used a few different sets for this: Abundant Blossoms, Cherry Blossoms, & Funky Flowers.
Since I felt the card was still a bit too white and needed a little touch of interest, I decided to add some color to the heart with distressing ink into the shape. The sentiment is from the Whatever! set.
